**Ghost of the Blues Broadway Review**

Find me at the Akron Civic Theatre February 7th 2014, portraying the late great Jr. Walker in the production.  I am excited to have this great opportunity to culminate 2 wonderful years of being a professional musician.  A big thanks to all of my friends, family and music fans who have supported the awesome live music community that we have. Let’s pack the house on the 7th and pay tribute to the many legends who have passed away and left us with some really outstanding music that will live on for centuries to come.

The Barrel Room Wine and Beer Bar

I love the great atmosphere that this place delivers, not only does it have great staff it’s always filled with some of the best clientele and customers a business could ask for. If you have an opportunity to check it out, take it because it’ll be worthwhile.  They have wine from all over the world, both international and domestics, and beers in the same capacity. Stop in and relax, they will welcome you in with open arms. Throughout the summer they will have food trucks available also to satisfy your evening cravings, such as sushi on a roll.

Survived it all!

It was a great week with some highlights being the Celebration in the Park with Cyphert jamming before the North Canton fireworks went off and Rocking with Retro at Loby’s and Bud’s corner. Was one busy week with solo jams, full bands, duos & trios all fit into 6 nights, even a couple back to back gigs. It’s like that sometimes and I love having the chance to meet and party with so many great people, i count it an honor. Noted also that i played with some greats this week such as Elec Simon, Patrick Masalko, Eric Brooke, Charles Butler, Bradd Bell and Jacqui Caldarelli to name a few.

What a week!

The week began at Michael D’s Italian restaurant, where we partied like rock stars with Eric Brooke. After a couple of days I had the pleasure of playing with Purdue saxophonist Greg Heinle at the Barrel Room Wine & Beer Bar, where staff and customers are always a pleasure to interact with.  Brought the house down at the Firehouse Bar and Grille in Massillon, with GM Kevin fun, fun. Met the great staff and customers at the Back Alley with Bret Kuhnash, as they danced around to the tunes. Experienced the intimate atmosphere of Vinoteca Wine Bar with Owners Sash and Rekha, along with a great crowd.  Some weeks are full of action, and I say “keep them coming”!

Playing with Legends

I am always amazed when I am given the chance to, not only meet but also play with music icons who have paved the way for musicians such as myself. With being a professional saxophonist for only one year, it just blows me away when i receive calls from true legends of the art. Recently I had the pleasure of recording with Joe Vitale, former member of the Eagles, the band that rocked huge hits like Hotel California and Take it Easy amongst other titles. He was awesome, very down to earth, and a bonafide lover of music. I never have and don’t plan to start taking meetings, such as this for granted.
